What We Do
Family Medical Care operates the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP), which provides screening and diagnostic services such as clinical breast exams, pap smears, and mammograms FREE of charge to women who qualify.
Eligibility is determined by what state you reside in, your age, and household income. However, exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis, especially if a strong family history of breast or cervical cancer exists. Patients who have had a hysterectomy are not eligible for pap smears unless their hysterectomy was due to cervical cancer.
