CHANGE, Inc., a non-profit community action and health agency, had a groundbreaking ceremony today to celebrate the expansion for a new facility in Newell, WV. The facility is set to start clearing the land the week of October 19th and begin the multi-phased project.
“Through a community needs assessment and growing customer base, the Board of Directors and staff starting looking for suitable space and/or land options to expand into the Chester/Newell area for our agencies programs and services,” stated Judy Raveaux, CEO of CHANGE, Inc. Working closely with Hancock County Savings Bank, who is making this possible, Raveaux stated the facility will house medical offices for OB/GYN, Family Practice, Pediatrics and Dental, as well as a Case Management office for CHANGE, Inc.’s various community services such as Weatherization, First Time Home Buyers, Domestic Violence, Housing and Transportation.
CHANGE, Inc. plans to open the new facility in early summer of 2016.
